Much More Than a Play Place
At Play Street Museum, we offer much more than just a play place. We take the traditional children's museum model to the next level by providing unique educational experiences in your local neighborhood. Each of our museum exhibits not only offer interactive learning opportunities, but also provide engaging environments and fully immersive entertainment for your little ones. With daily playtime sessions by reservation, kids have the chance to develop social skills through play. They can explore their interests at the rotating Discovery Rug exhibit and nurture their creativity at the art exploration station. Sensory play is also emphasized, whether it's through a visit to our custom slime lab or by taking a sensory kit to continue the fun and learning at home.

Weekly Themes, Events, and More!
But that's not all! At Play Street Museum, we go beyond regular playtime activities. We have weekly themes centered around notable figures, unique holidays, interesting cultures, and more. We even have special Night at the Museum activities when we stay open late. On the weekend you can find a fun event to attend featuring activities like pottery and canvas painting or dino digs and space exploration, to name a few. We are confident your young ones will find plenty of things to spark their interest, and we believe you will find each trip to Play Street Museum is engaging and insightful.

Admission is $14.00 per child ages 1-8. Children younger than 1 and older than 8 are free if
accompanied by a paying sibling. Older children are welcome to play along but must play in a calm and respectful manner.Parents / Guardians are free.
Play Street Museum South Austin is offering Playtime by Reservation Monday-Friday. To be guaranteed a spot, please reserve a spot by clicking the button above.
You can arrive at the beginning of a session or at any time during a session and pay at the door as long as there is space available.
Session times are: 8:30-10:00, 10:30-12:00, 12:30-2:00, 2:30-4:00, & 4:30-6:00
Playtime by Reservation allows us to control the number of people in each session and the ability to wipe down high touch surfaces between sessions.
Parents or guardians must sign a waiver for each child before entering the play space.
Please note that we are not a drop-off center or childcare facility. Parents and caregivers must stay in the play space and supervise their children at all times.
If at all possible, please do not bring strollers into Play Street Museum.
Our restroom is outfitted with a baby changing station. Please change all diapers in the restroom.
We have free WiFi!
We do not allow food in the play area....be sure to fill up your little one's belly before you arrive.
Outside drinks for children and adults are permitted and encouraged. Bring in your favorite drink and relax for a few!
We reserve the right to ask children that are being disruptive to leave if they are interfering with the learning & play of others.
